OK, we'll admit it - we have no clue what's going on in American Idol producers' heads anymore. First, rumors swirl that they're trying to court Nick Jonas to join the judges table alongside Randy Jones and newcomer Mariah Carey, then Page Six reports that they're trying to get Diddy instead. Now, Vulture is reporting that Alanis Morissette revealed on a Las Vegas radio show that she's "in talks with somebody right now" to join the series for its 12th season, but she "can't name any names." At this rate, we think it's safe to say everyone in the world and their mothers are in the running for new judge as well.
