24-year-old Zackary Pace got laughed out after leaving work, only to return moments later in a remarkably stupid attempt to rob the place. According to authorities, Pace finished his shift at Jack's restaurant in Pinson, AL, only to come back almost immediately wearing a mask (and the same clothes) and armed with a gun. He didn't fool anyone.
The attempt at disguising his voice was apparently so pathetic that co-workers told him to stop joking. That is, until they realized he wasn't. Pace got away with an undisclosed amount of money, but proved to be truly stupid, showing up to work on Monday as police were conducting interviews about the robbery.
He was arrested and charged with first degree robbery. Most criminals are caught, but all stupid criminals are caught.
