And another Saturday Night Live cast member's contract bites the dust: According to Vulture, Abby Elliott is officially off the series after four years on cast. Elliott hadn't appeared in many sketches this season apart from the recurring "Zooey Deschanel Show" segment, so her exit isn't all that surprising - still sad, though.
So, what's next for Elliott? She reportedly shot a pilot called Ben & Kate this past winter, but was replaced by Melanie Griffith's daughter, Dakota Johnson, so that's off the table. Mad Men's probably out too...zing.
