After the horrific shooting that claimed the lives of 12 people during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises earlier today, Warner Bros. has cancelled the Paris premiere of the movie tonight, according to The Hollywood Reporter. All of the press junkets and cast interviews have been called off by Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, and Anne Hathaway as well. There is no word yet on whether or not the premiere will be rescheduled at this time.

We'll be keeping an eye on the situation as these events and the responses to them continue to unfold.
