As part of their continued efforts to bring innovative events to D.C., the DC to BC team presents Trillectro. On Saturday, August 11, they’ll bring you the first annual festival that offers an eclectic blend of hip-hop and electronic music live at Fairgrounds (1299 Half Street SE).
Due to the wide variety of acts, Trillectro will draw people from all walks of life, bringing hood dudes and hipsters together for an epic celebration. Think United Colors of Benetton, and then think of something that will make that look pedestrian and you have the essence of Trillectro.
Doug E. Fresh and Khadafi Dub will host and the bill includes ScHoolboy Q, Flosstradamus, Casey Veggies, Phony Ppl, Oddisee, Body Language, tabi Bonney, and many more. In addition to a combination of local and national artists, the event will feature games, food trucks and a moon bounce.If the lineup didn’t get you, the moon bounce surely will.
