The '80s were a mysterious time. Everyone did coke and wore bright Hawaiian shirts, and it was common to see deadly Apache helicopters doing fly-bys of sweltering coastal Florida townships.

Obviously we learned everything we know about the '80s from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (and VH1). But what if the game had actually been released in 1987, for the Commodore 64? It wouldn't even have been a period game. It would have been relevant.

Be warned, if you haven't beat Vice City, you're going to be spoilerized by the video, which recreates the game's final mission in beautiful pixelated glory.

Would you play this game if they actually released it? Tell us what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
