"The Last Story" From "Final Fantasy" Series Creator Arriving August 14 in US

Is "The Last Story" the last great Wii game?

None

There's been a lot of hype for The Last Story, partly because it's from the studio founded by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and partly because it just might be the last great Wii game.

Word has been slim on a US release, but today XSEED Games and Mistwalker announced that the game will be hitting North American shores on August 14. As a nice bonus, The Last Story will initially come packaged with a 44-page softcover art book.

On top of that, a pre-order from Amazon, Gamestop or Games Canada will net you a 7-track soundtrack album composed by famed Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.

Those sound like some truly legit bonuses, far above the standard experience booster packs and alternate costumes that many pre-order bonuses have recently devolved to.

Are you excited to finally experience The Last Story? What about that pre-order bonus? Tell us what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
