At Comic-Con today, Microsoft and 343 Industries unveiled the Halo 4 Xbox 360 console bundle, a perfect deal for Hal fans who somehow don't already have an Xbox 360. Actually, what are we saying? You know you're going to sell your existing 360 and buy this one either way (unless you've got the Halo: Reach edition, of course).

Microsoft calls it "the perfect celebration of the return of the Master Chief" in a press release sent out today, and we have to agree. The $399 bundle comes with an exclusive Halo 4-themed 320GB console and two controllers, a standard edition copy of Halo 4, a wired headset, and Xbox LIVE tokens for exclusive “Halo 4” in-game and avatar marketplace downloadable content.

Perhaps even better is the fact that the rings of light on the console and controllers glow bright blue to keep with the Halo theme. Maybe they turn purple when it overheats? Just kidding, it's been ages since that happened (as far as we know).

They also announced a separate, standalone Halo 4-themed wireless Xbox 360 controller with he UNSC logo and a translucent grey body. It also features the blue light-ring, and comes with an Avatar T-shirt.

The console bundle launches on November 6 (the same day as the game) and the standalone controller comes out October 21 for $59.99. Got a new entry for your holiday wish list now? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
