After contract negotiations turned ugly last week, the adult cast members of Modern Family have finally agreed to new deals with 20th Century Fox Television, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and Sofia Vergara will now receive about $170,000 per episode, as opposed to the $65,000 they were getting paid during their previous deal.

This is obviously a huge raise, but it is still less than the $200,000 the cast was shooting for. But they will now also get a cut of the show's profits as well. Also, according to the site, when the show gets into its eighth season, the cast will get around $350,000 per episode.

Modern Family has quickly become one of the most successful shows on TV in recent years, so it was all but inevitable that a deal was going to be reached. Now the main cast will be getting similar money to series star Ed O’Neill, who was getting paid the most on the show by far before these new contracts were reached.
