As expected, The Amazing Spider-Man is killing it at the box office. After earning $7.5 million domestically in midnight showings alone, Deadline is reporting that the film has taken in $35 million on opening night - making it the highest grossing Tuesday opening in history, rivaled only by Transformers which took in $27.8 million on its Tuesday opening in 2007.

Amazing Spider-Man's numbers are only expected to rise as the weekend approaches, with one Sony exec saying, "That is one huge number...unbelievable start to what should be a very exciting 6 days." Yeah, you know what this means - get ready for a sequel.

So, what do you think Tobey Maguire is doing right now?
