The next time you get frustrated playing a game on your iPhone and wish you could cheat and grab all the power-ups, don't get mad. Instead, head to In-AppStore.com. There, thanks to a Russian developer that goes by the handle ZonD80, you can learn how to hack Apple's in-app purchasing program and grab in-game items, full versions of apps, and additional content for free.
The hack, as demonstrated in the above video, uses an "in-app proxy" that miraculously doesn't require users to jailbreak their iPhones. It works on handsets running iOS 3.0 to iOS 6.0 (currently in beta). To make it work, all you have to do is:
- Install two certificates: CA and in-appstore.com.
- Connect via Wi-Fi network and change the DNS to 62.76.189.117.
- Press the Like button, enter your Apple ID and password
Or, you know, you could get good at the game, which would enable you to get all the power-ups your heart desires, or you could actually pay the developers for all their hard work. Your call.
