It looks like The Dark Knight Rises will be the biggest movie of the summer, so it only makes sense that it's one of the longest as well. According to The British Board of Film Classification, the official length of the movie is 164 minutes, or two hours and 44 minutes long. This trumps the 140 minute run time of Batman Begins and the 152 minute length of The Dark Knight.
