Americans have to deal with the stress of high unemployment rates and a fickle economy, and New Zealanders have prostitutes destroying street signs after using them to pole dance. Cool.

In the past year and a half, New Zealand prostitutes have been accused of causing thousands of dollars in damage to public property with their provocative dancing, which taxpayers have to pay for—though there are probably a few individuals who aren't exactly complaining about the tax hike.

However, the United States Pole Dancing Federation—yes, it's a real thing—has come to the defense of these alleged vandals, claiming that New Zealand is treating the sport of "urban pole dancing" unfairly.

The damage is caused when the prostitutes either bend or snap the street signs during the dance. If that's the case, then New Zealand has the world's strongest prostitutes.
