Ryan Burke tried to fight the law, and the law won. After serving Officer Jeremy Merck a pube sandwich back in 2010, the Evesham, NJ short-order cook might have to pay all of $13,750 as part of a settlement. That's one expensive pube sandwich.

While working at Good Foods to Go, Burke recognized Merck as the cop that had ticketed him the previous year. Seeking revenge, Burke decided to sprinkle his pubes on Merck's turkey, egg and cheese sandwich. Merck noticed the extra additive, which led to Burke being arrested and serving 15 days in jail in January 2011.

Merck wouldn't let it go, however. He sued Burke and Good Foods to Go last October, and now one or both defendants will have to sprinkle Merck with that cash. In the end, revenge wasn't worth it.
