Monster Hunter 4 is so popular in Japan that it's practically kept entire systems, like the PSP, afloat by itself. It's no slouch in the US, either.
Now the fourth game in the series has been pegged with a 2013 release date in Japan, and although the 3DS game still doesn't have a US release, it likely won't take too long once it comes out in Japan.
The game doesn't look much changed from its predecessors, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. And there are still plenty of monsters that need hunting (come on, they're asking for it!).
