Timothy Courtois, 49, was arrested in Maine Sunday morning after police pulled him over for doing 112 miles per hour on the Maine Turnpike. In addition to speeding, Courtois had an AK-47, four handguns, and an alarming amount of ammo in his vehicle.

He explained to police that he had just seen The Dark Knight Rises, loaded up on ammunition and was venturing to  Derry, NH, to kill a former employee. To make matters worse, police also found news clippings of the Aurora, CO, shooting in his Mustang.

When police searched his home, they found multiple weapons: a machine gun, handguns, rifles, and thousands of rounds of ammunition. In addition to criminal speeding, he was charged with possession of a concealed firearm. He's being held on $50,000 bail.

We live in a crazy world, folks.
