We introduced you to Magrunner: Dark Pulse, a Lovecraftian first-person puzzler in the vein of Portal (we think), earlier this month. The game's already reached about 80 percent of its funding, and to give it a final push, 3AM Games has released a new dev diary detailing their progress so far.

They address some early complaints with the game—like the unrealistic magnetism (or something) and concerns over currency differences—before delving into some gameplay footage.

We can't wait to see more of the game and find out how all the different pieces—sci-fi puzzles, a Lovecraft-inspired narrative—fit together.

There's still 30 days to go, so if you want to contribute you've got plenty of time. Just head over to Gamesplanet Lab (the new Kickstarter clone just for games). Does Magrunner remind you of Portal? What else? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
