Despite rumors claiming that a deal was almost done, Collider is now reporting that Jessica Biel will not be appearing in The Wolverine as the villainous Viper. Talks apparently broke down between 20th Century Fox and the actress' reps, and now the studio will need to move on to other choices. With the movie set to begin filming next month, a final decision should be made in the near future.
So for anyone hoping to see Biel in a skin-tight costume, it looks like you'll have to stick to watching Blade: Trinity over and over again. Hopefully Fox manages to find someone equally as appealing to fill the role now.
