No character in the Marvel Universe has had a tougher journey than Jean Grey. She was married to Cyclops, the X-Men's resident wallflower; she used to get hit on by Wolverine almost daily; she was possessed by a homicidal space parasite known as The Phoenix Force; and she's died more times than we count. But now, according to Entertainment Weekly, it looks like the House of Ideas is looking to resurrect the character yet again after this year's Avengers vs. X-Men crossover.
The site is reporting that Jean is returning to the pages of Marvel in the near future, and that she won't be a clone, hologram, or zombie. The site is promising more information on Jean's possible return tomorrow. With the San Diego Comic-Con happening this month, you can expect plenty more announcements coming from the company about its post AvX plans in the near future.
