As temperatures climb, bad ideas become great ones. How else to explain this strange story out of Philadelphia?
On Saturday morning, a Philly resident was up early to give his six-year-old son a haircut. Visible from the street, the 29-year-old was interrupted by a stranger who knocked on the door and asked if he was a barber. After telling him no, the father went back to cutting and the stranger departed. But then he came back with a semiautomatic handgun and asked for a trim. Demanded, really.
In the ensuing fight, the father was stabbed six times before forcing the intruder out of his home. The man is still at large and in need of a haircut.
