It's been 30 years since Atari released what would become one of the most revered classics in the history of video games. Centipede had a simple objective, shoot the sections of an enormous centipede before it got to you. It sounded simple enough but it turned out to be an insane challenge. Dona Bailey was one of the people responsible for that challenge and she's witnessing the rebirth of a game that established her as the first woman ever to design an arcade game, create a game that popularized the track ball and attract women to video games.
We had the opportunity to speak with Dona to get her insight on the creation of Centipede and seeing Centipede Origins.
