A Starbucks franchise plans to open in a South Carolina funeral parlor, offering drinks and Wi-Fi service to patrons, though it will not be advertised at the front of the Robinson Funeral Home. Chris Robinson, the general manager of Robinson Funeral Home, said "you won't be hit in the face with [the Starbucks]," and he hopes that it will "help families escape from the stress a little bit."
Because nothing eases the pain of grieving quite like a $5 macchiato.
