Facebook is on a transparency bender. Yesterday the social network announced that it will now let Group creators see who read posts posted in their group. Now, we get word from Gizmodo that Facebook will allow you to edit a comment, but once you do all your friends will see that have. Great. So much for being discreet. Whenever a you edit a comment, a "Edited" button will appear beneath that, when clicked, will show the entire history of your comment, sort of like the tracking feature in Microsoft Word. Only you didn't invite anyone to look. We would say this will make people think thrice about what they write on Facebook but that's thinking way too optimistically.

Gizmodo has some images of what it all looks like.
