Not only is Aaron Piggee ready for the 4th of July, he appears to be ready for war as well. The 74-year-old man was caught with 8,000 pounds of illegal fireworks at his Willowbrook home. The “stunning amount” of fireworks have a reported street value of more than $20,000, and Piggee was rocketing over L.A. County laws by selling them from his home.

Police found explosives, skyrockets, morters, and pyrotechnics with festive names such as “Triple Break Magnum Shells,”“King of Pyro,” and “Eye Peeler.” According to police, had all of the fireworks been lit in the residential area, the damage could’ve been “deadly.” Cops also found two revolvers, a semi-automatic handgun, a rifle, and $10,000 in cash.

Piggee was arrested for possession of an explosive device, selling fireworks without a permit and possession of a loaded unregistered firearm. He was released on $35,000 bail, and doesn’t believe his stash was a problem. In fact, he says he just wants to make people—especially kids—happy.
