Nintendo's really sticking to the coins theme.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is all about the coins—or so Nintendo has stated time and time again since its announcement earlier this year.

It's also the first full retail 3DS game to be offered on the eShop, Nintendo's digital store front. So it's no wonder that they're incentivizing the digital purchase of the game by giving you double Club Nintendo points for downloading it.

So you'll get 100 instead of 50 coins—well worth it, especially if you want to accrue as many points as possible to get in on next year's gold and platinum Club Nintendo rewards. They were pretty freaking great this year, after all.

Are you a Club Nintendo fiend, jonesing for coins like Mario and Luigi will be on August 19 when NSMB 2 drops? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
