Battlefield 3's multiplayer match customizer "Matches" is available now, but it sure ain't free.

Matches allows you to create custom matches to play with your friends, setting game settings, team sizes, maps, unlocks, and other goodies at your own whims. The best part is that these custom matches will still be tracked by EA, so they remain as competitive as ever.

The worst part, though, is that to set up custom matches you have to rent a server from EA.

Are you renting a server now? Would you like to be able to create custom, competitive games without paying for your own dedicated server, or do you feel EA's requirements are reasonable? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
