We didn't think it was possible when she was originally announced for the role, but Anne Hathaway completely owned the character of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. She brought the perfect amount of playfulness, sex appeal, violence, and introspection to the character that fit seamlessly into Christopher Nolan's world.
And when asked if she would like to reprise the role in a future spin-off movie during an interview with Digital Spy, Hathaway responded, "I think it would be lovely to see more of her but only if it's with the right people." She continued, "She lives in this Gotham City and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least."
We highly doubt Christopher Nolan would return for a Catwoman spin-off, but there are plenty of directors in Hollywood that could continue his vision. Either way, it couldn't be any worse than Halle Berry's version.
