Activision confirmed recent reports the "Nuketown 2025" map, a futuristic "re-imagining" of the "Nuketown" map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, will be a pre-order bonus at "participating retailers." The map will be available on Xbox, PS3, and PC, including copies downloaded via Steam.

"Multiplayer fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops LOVE "Nuketown"," said Treyarch chief Mark Lamia. "Flat out, "Nuketown" was a blast to play before, and we're excited about the reimagined "Nuketown 2025" in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. We can't wait to play with everyone come this November."

Based on the original rumor, it sounds like Gamestop and UK retailer game will be among the stores offering codes for the map, so those seem like the safest bets now. Will Nuketown 2025 get you to pre-order Black Ops 2? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter.
