Word reached us this morning that there's a new The Walking Dead game in the works, separate from Telltale's episodic adventure game series. The new game is a first-person shooter from Activision, the publishers who've brought us every Call of Duty game, among many others.

It's being developed by Terminal Reality, a studio with a mixed history, but whose excellent Ghostbusters game sort of proves that they can at least do a licensed property justice when given the right tools.

In the new The Walking Dead FPS, you'll play as Daryl, traveling with podunk brother Merle toward Atlanta. You'll have the option to travel with other survivors along the way (or not, we hear).

So what do you think? Can a shooter really do justice to the character-driven The Walking Dead? Can Activision make sure it's done right? Tell us what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
