It looks like it’s a wrap for W.i.P. now that New York City officials have suspended its liquor license. Last night, the New York State Liquor Authority banned liquor at the club after citing a reported “ten separate assault and altercations beginning on March 11 2012, and leading up to a large brawl at the club on June 14, 2012.” June 14, as you remember, is the night of the infamous Drake vs. Chris Brown fight.
In addition, the club was slapped with a stunning 17 Alcoholic Beverage Control Law violations including drug activity, lack of supervision, and draining police resources. The ban is “effective immediately.”
