A 24-year-old Massachusetts woman has been charged with posing as a 17-year-old boy to have sex with a 15-year-old girl from West Virginia. Authorities say that Carissa Hads pretended to be teenager James Puryear Wilson when she met the girl on the Internet in 2010.

The couple had two sexual encounters where Hads used a prosthetic penis. She allegedly never undressed during sex with the girl, wearing a back brace to hide her breasts. Hads set up Facebook and MySpace accounts under the guise of Wilson, where she claimed to be the father of twins.

The age of consent in West Virginia is 16, and statutory rape is defined as "when a person aged 16 or older engages in sexual intercourse or sexual intrusion with another person who is less than 16 years old and who is at least 4 years younger than the defendant."

Hads was arrested last month and charged with coercion or enticement of a minor, which carries a maximum sentence 30 years in prison.
