We always thought of Manhattan as our playground anyway, and now Beenox and Activision have confirmed it in their latest developer diary for The Amazing Spider-Man.

Only when we go to play there we usually end up spending $100 on cabs and drinks. Spider-Man just swings to where he needs to go for free. Not fair!

The video is hosted by the game's executive producer, Brent Nicholas. The Amazing Spider-Man hits shelves next week. Check out their vision of open-world, vertical Manhattan and let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
