Uggie, the amazing/wonderful/awe-inspiring/excellent/great/various other synonyms of those words/adorable dog from The Artist will be retiring on June 26th, according to Vulture. Say it isn't so! Apparently, he was supposed to retire back in January, but Oscar cameos and ad campaigns kept him from hanging up his diamond-studded collar - now, however, is the real deal.
The retirement party in his honor will be held on the 26th, during which time Uggie will get his paw-prints forever cemented on the ground in front of the Grauman's Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.
