Uggie the Dog Got His Paw Prints Cemented Outside of the Grauman's Chinese Theatre

As promised, The Artist's wonderdog, Uggie, became the first canine to have his paw prints cemented outside of Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theatre yesterday. The event marked his official retirement from the biz, which, if you're going to retire, isn't a terrible way to celebrate. After the ceremony, LA Councilman Tom LaBonge declared it "Uggie Day." National holiday, anyone?

Uggie's trainer, Omar Van Muller, was in attendance as well. "The main message that Uggie would like to send to everybody out there is to please adopt," he said to the crowd. "He's adopted. He made it. If you guys can adopt a dog, even if they don't make it on the big screen, they'll be big stars at your house."
