After a brief countdown timer over the last couple days, Frictional Games and The Chinese Room released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming collaboration, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.

It's the successor to Amnesia: The Dark Descent, one of the scariest games we've ever played. And if you don't think pigs are scary right now, just wait until you hear the sounds coming from this trailer.

Here's the official plot synopsis: "The year is 1899. Wealthy industrialist Oswald Mandus has returned home from a disastrous expedition to Mexico, which has ended in tragedy. Wracked by fever, haunted by dreams of a dark machine, he recovers consciousness in his own bed, with no idea of how much time has passed since his last memory. As he struggles to his feet, somewhere beneath him, an engine splutters, coughs, roars into life..."

The whole thing makes us think of some enormous, demonic slaughterhouse. What about you? Going to enjoy some bacon today? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
