After director Tim Story'sThink Like a Man exceeded most people's expectations at the box office earlier this year, Collider has revealed that now Screen Gems is moving ahead with a sequel to the movie. There is no news on which cast members will be returning, or if Story is coming back as director, but the site did confirm that the writers of the original, Keith Merryman and David A. Newman, will be back to pen the script for this one.
The original was based off of Steve Harvey's book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, but he never wrote a follow-up to that, so this sequel looks to be a completely original idea. There is no release date set for the sequel, but expect the studio to try and move things along quickly.
