Just as we learn that RIM may be selling off its BlackBerry hardware business, we get a slight ray of sunshine for the beleaguered smartphone platform. The Spotify app for BlackBerry is now officially available in the BlackBerry App World app store.
Spotify for BlackBerry was released as a limited preview in October, 2011, before being taken of out of beta two months later in December. However, in order to download the streaming music app, users had to head to Spotify's mobile site.
Better late than never, right?
