The patent wars continue to swing in Apple’s favor. Just two days after U.S. judge Lucy Koh issued an injunction against Samsung’s sale of its Galaxy Tab, the same judge granted an injunction banning sales of  Samsung and Google’s Galaxy Nexus smartphone--, pending a $96 million bond to be paid by Apple. Apple’s patent for a “universal interface for retrieval of information in a computer system” shaped the decision, which came just hours after Koh cleared Apple of infringement on three of Samsung’s patents. The Korean manufacturer better hope for a different judge in future cases.
