Nintendo announced today that Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2will be coming to North America on October 7th. Black and White 2, like the original Black and White, are for the DS, so no 3D pokemon-catching this around.

At the same time, Nintendo will is also releasing Pokemon Dream Radar, a Pokemon-themed AR game for the 3DS, on the E-Shop. So there will be some 3D Pokemon-hunting to do, just not the kind you might have been expecting.
