The new PlayStation Move Racing Wheel attachment will have "basically double the accuracy of a DualShock," according to Sony.
PS Move designer Anton Mikhailov detailed the features of the new peripheral in the above video from the PlayStation Blog.
The peripheral naturally looks like a racing wheel, but can expand into a full set of handlebars for when you choose a motorcycle instead of a car. The right grip has a twist-throttle, to give you the full bike experience.
The racing apparatus has a "DualShock motor" in each handle, adding directional rumble effects, which compliment the Move's own rumbling features.
And the best part? The wheel is powered by the Move controller, so it won't require any extra batteries.
At the moment, the wheel is only supported by a modest number of current and future PS3 racers, including LittleBigPlanet Karting, Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Burnout Paradise, MotorStorm Apocalypse, and more.
You can expect more high profile games to jump on the list between now and when the PlayStation Move Racing Wheel lands on store shelves this Fall.
