25-year-old Maurice Kimble was killed following a shooting near the Piazza in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. The incident was the result of a fight between two men on the patio of burger joint PYT (one of the 25 Douchiest Bars in Philadelphia). The fight spilled into the courtyard of the Piazza, then exploded into gunfire.
Philadelphia police plan on examining surveillance footage from the bar to see if the fight or shooting were recorded. This comes just six months after three men were convicted for a high-profile 2009 murder at the Piazza.
