This is what happened to Liza Friedlander while dining there with some friends in September 2010. The location's manager Edgar Orellana became violent with her, shoving Friedlander and hurling homophobic epithets. What's worse, the hate became contagious, and diners began to criticize Friedlander's appearance. Things escalated until the police escorted her to safety.
As compensation for the nightmare, Friedlander has been awarded $25,000.
