To us, this sort of seems like it defeats the purpose, but whatever: According to Vulture, it looks like NBC is set to team up with Charlize Theron to produce a modern day version of the History Channel's very successful TV miniseries, Hatfields & McCoys. If you weren't one of the 14 million people who caught it when it aired, it followed the Hatfield-McCoy feud (the more you know!) and is said to have been a very historically accurate depiction of it, at that. The new series will have the Hatfields as a much, much richer family, and the McCoys as blue-collar workers living in a "contemporary urban environment."
