There's absolutely no salvaging a relationship after this. 22-year-old John McGuinness was arrested last week for allegedly smashing his girlfriend in the face with a pair of jeans covered in wasabi. What could piss a man off that much? Surprise: sports.
The argument went down after the Boston Celtics lost Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals to the Miami Heat. As salt in the wound, McGuinness's 21-year-old girlfriend fielded a text from a male friend, sparking an argument. She dropped McGuinness off at his home, but he then sent her a text saying he was going to dispose of her $200 jeans.
She rushed back to his house, where he reportedly forced her car window down and snatched her cell phone. After she got out of the car, he hit her in the face with the spicy jeans. McGuinness was charged with domestic assault and battery.
Just another reason for people to hate the Heat.
