In the event that you decide to impersonate a cop, it is not a good idea to pull over a real cop. 29-year-old Anthony Mastrogiovanni was arrested on Wednesday in Prince George’s County, Md., by a real cop for claiming a set he did not belong to. Nobody likes that.
After an officer from Capitol Heights identified himself, Mastrogiovanni said that he was a military officer from Louisiana, and even had the nerve to tell the actual cop that he was speeding. The officer then told him the blue and red emergency equipment in his white pickup truck was illegal in Maryland, so Mastrogiovanni left the scene.
The real officer reached out to P.G. County police, and followed the poser until they arrived. Nobody’s above the law, even if they think they are the law.
