There it is. Phone Arena has come into the possession of leaked photos of Google's forthcoming Android tablet— a Nexus-style pure Android device that it's been developing with Asus.

As these aren't official images, and Google isn't even supposed to announce this thing until the end of the month at its annual I/O conference, it's possible that they don't actually represent the final product. But they look pretty legit to us. Get a look at the Google/Asus co-branding on the back.

The Nexus tab is said to sport a 7-inch screen and run on Nvidia's Tegra III processor. It's expected to run Android 4.1, the latest version of the OS.

One other thing— is it just us, or does this thing look a lot like a giant Galaxy S III?
