If you think Joffrey's evil stares on Game of Thrones are pretty damn evil - personally, we happen to think they're just sort of douchy, but that's just us - you apparently have Joaquin Phoenix and Gladiator to thank. In a new interview with GQ, actor Jack Gleeson divulged that a big inspiration for Joffrey's expressions is Phoenix's character from the film, who tended to look at people like this, if you're curious.

"A big influence was Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator," the 20-year-old actor said. "Sometimes when I'm sitting on my throne, I think of Phoenix sitting on his, with that smirk on his face."

But who has the most douchiest facial expressions? Probably still Joffrey.
