One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles is currently at the center of a potentially adulterous scandal. Apparently, the British wundekind hooked up with radio DJ Lucy Horobin. No big deal, right? Well, it's not so cut and dry. See, the problem is that Styles was 17 at the time of the romantic tryst and Horobin was 32.
Horobin first met Styles when she interviewed the boys of One Direction for Manchester-based station Key 103. The two hit it and staff working at the radio station sensed something was up almost immediately.
"Lucy made it quite clear she fancied him and there was a lot of banter between them both on and off air," claimed a former colleague of Horobin. "It got a little risqué."
But wait, here's where things get interesting: "People knew that Lucy’s marriage was in a strange place at the time and obviously the attraction between her and Harry was mutual."
Harmless flirtation? Not exactly. Rumor has it the two secretly met up at a hotel in Manchester, where they spent the night together. Then months later Styles and Horobin allegedly hooked up again while One Direction was in town for a concert in December. To add to the drama, Styles was seeing The Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack, also 32, at the time.
Sources say that was the last time Styles and Horobin got together, as the radio personality opted to mend her relationship with her estranged husband.
Flack and Styles broke things off in January after just three months together.
