Gentle Hitchhiker Shot While Doing Research For Book About The Kindness Of America

Terrible story, bruh.

None

Deciding to write a book entitled The Kindness of America without even a little irony in your system is tantamount to asking for America to dump unkindness on you, which is what happened to Raymond Dolin of West Virginia. Hitchhiking during his writing process, Dolin found himself in Montana looking down the barrel of a gun, deep into the heart of unkind America.

A random drive-by sent Dolin to the hospital. Charles Lloyd Danielson III was arrested shortly after for the motive-less crime. He was drunk.

In the spirit of fairness (America?), Dolin was helped by a passing motorist after being shot. Guess everything evens out.
