Freida Pinto is a classic beauty, which is perhaps the reason why she got all dolled up in 1950s-style glamour for the cover of Flaunt magazine.

In the story, she shoots down allegations— mostly from the Indian press— that she's become something of a diva.

"When I was promoting this big-budget film, some Indian media reported that I was being a diva on set, and that's the reason I did not want to come to India to promote the film," she said. "I'm like, 'What? I'm in f**king America. That's why I can't promote the film in India.' It's not easy to be in two places at once. It's not true."

She does have a point there. Next time she can just send the Freida Pinto hologram in her place. Problem solved.
